June/July Pause

Greetings to my beloved Christ Church family!

It’s hard to believe as of July 1, 2019, I will have been here a full year! Now, perhaps for some it will have seemed like an eternity, 😊 and yet, maybe for others the year has swiftly flown by. But it has not gone unnoticed, that even in the midst of change (which can be so hard!), you have been so gracious and kind to me. I am so grateful to you all for providing me a space to be the person God intended me to be. Whether it is playing my cello, doing monologues, reading poetry, sharing my crazy family stories or just opening my heart to you through the Word, you have blessed my spirit and I am forever grateful.

Going forward, I look forward to seeing what God has in store for us here at Christ Church (as well as our denomination). It takes a village to raise a pastor and it takes a faithful God to bring renewal and hope into those unknown spaces. But I believe that God has wonderful plans for Christ Church. Join me on this journey which is about hard, but beautiful work. When God is at the core, amazing life-giving, faith-filled experiences can and will happen. Let’s trust the process and move forward with boldness and Christ as our center!

With loving regards and God’s peace, Pastor Jenny
